Mrs. Rot has loved and supported St. John’s Academy since 2006 when her oldest daughter started Kindergarten. She and her husband of 20 years, Jeff, are blessed to have had all four of their children attend the Academy and now she is doubly blessed to be teaching Math to 6th and 7th graders. Her goal is to instill a love for learning, to make math fun and to develop cognitive processes beneficial for relevant problem solving.

Mrs. Rot has a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from the University of California, Davis and a Master’s in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine. Math has always been one of Mrs. Rot’s favorite subjects and as a Christian, she views mathematics as an opportunity to observe God’s creation of order and organization.
In her free time Mrs. Rot enjoys leading middle school youth group, watching her kids play sports, family time, playing ultimate frisbee and volleyball, beach time, hiking and fishing.
