Mrs. Jeannie Petty graduated from Flagler College with a B.A. in Sociology in 2008. After a 20 year career as a sign language interpreter, she felt God calling her to take a different path. She joined the St. John’s Academy family in 2020 as a teacher’s aide in the 4th grade. Mrs. Petty is now starting her 3rd year as one of the 4th grade teachers. She has been happily married to her highschool sweetheart, Jacob for 20 years. Jacob is our Athletic Director here at SJA. They have 3 children who all attend the Academy. Mrs. Petty also facilitates the after school ASL Club. In her free time you can find Jeannie on the sports fields cheering on her children in soccer and football. Being a St. Augustine native is a blessing and the only place she has ever called “home.” Jeannie believes St. John’s Academy is truly a utopia and will forever be grateful to be a part of the Lord’s work here.
