Mrs. Walwik serves as a Teacher’s Assistant at St. Johns Academy. She attended the University of South Carolina, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Communications. She is currently pursuing a MA in Christian Education from Dallas Theological Seminary specializing in Christian Writing and Curriculum Development. Mrs. Walwik has written devotions for the Evangelical Lutheran Education Association, served on the Women’s Missionary Union Adult Advisory Board for Curriculum Development, and trained staff leaders for summer missions camps. The most exciting experience thus far for the Walwik family is living in Amman, Jordan for four years. Her passions are engaging in other cultures, reading biographies, and writing. Mrs. Walwik seeks to teach people how to read the Bible in a way that enables them to apply it to their daily life. She has two sons who attend the Academy and is excited to be a part of the SJA faculty.
